As I have written in previous part, Sister of Battle cosplay was done in about two months and we did not manage to do everything as was supposed to be done - there was no appropriate wig, no weapons other than pistol (which was partially due the practical issue since she needed her hands free). So, as soon as it was "finished" we have started working on improved version.
First, with a new appropriate wig with iconic Sister of Battle bob cut:

Much better than a previous atrocity...
Of Course as soon as those pictures hit an internet there were people complaining - "She does not have a bolter!" "She has only some small puny little gun!" "Where is a chainsword?" etc. People...
Mace was a fun project, again based on her RPG character who had ceremonial mace as a starting equipment... So, a prop had to be fancy and a little over the top, right?
Idea came spontaneously, Why not use fleur-de-lys as main mace flanges and Inquisitorial symbol as small ones? And with that, with Maki's help in drawing basic shape of it I started working on mace.
Plastic pipe handle wrapped with faux-leather, brass decorations from an old chandelier, short piece of copper chain and a wrist loop and fleur-de-lys flange:

Few more flanges, and some decorative rivets and fake gemstones finished design:

It was quickly painted in a very fake marble pattern and it was ready for ETC 2014 tournament where she appeared as a guest. Maki added prayer cloth with JJ's character's motto from Dark Heresy RPG:
"A mind without purpose will wander in dark places".

But I was never satisfied how it was painted, so after some deliberation I have finally decided to repaint it, to a simpler dark blue and blue-metalic scheme:

Next thing was a bolter, it deserves it's own post since it was so megalomaniac project, but w/o going into details I have made it October 2015-April 2016. Again it was just ready for a JJ's birthday...
