Or "Smoking might kill you, but heresy WILL kill you"

It was sometime about March 2014, my friend JJ's birthday was coming close and I was totally out of idea for a present (other than a regular Porto wine

And The Inspiration was there - I am gonna make Warhammer 40k themed cigaret case.
Now, anyone can just take random cigaret case and add few Warhammer 40k themed things and call it a job well done, but for me that would be a cheating, so with only a faintest idea how to make it I have started working on it.
After a few trials and errors there it was - made of combination plasticard and light wood, reinforced with aluminium sheets, covered with bookbinder's faux leather and decorated with iconic 40k Aquilla, cut out of the copper sheet (Thanks to Maki!) and few more decorations it has solved a problem of the birthday present.

Inside it is covered with purple velvet, but I have no pic of the inside for some reason...

Moral of the story - not everything you make has to be "end of it all, makes a coffee, cleans a house, has a lightshow and shoots lightning bolts" thing - sometimes simple, everyday items will do if you invest some time and love in them.
